Each morning you should expect to start taking inventory before you attend to all your patients. For example, you’ll want to make sure all the oxygen tanks are full and ready for us. After all, if you don’t have supplies at the ready, it will be a challenge to help anyone.

Once you get done with inventory, you’ll want to start attending to patients. Urgent care clinics are often quite busy, so you’ll have to be ready for a fast-paced environment. You’ll have to balance working quickly with giving each patient the care they need.

If you can handle a past-paced, high-pressure job, urgent care may be right for you. This is definitely not a job for the faint of heart either, but you’re probably prepared if you’ve been pursuing a medical career. If you’re trying to help as many people as possible, apply to an urgent care clinic!
